The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC's register is approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament. General Medical Council (GMC) guidance confirms that doctors are able to refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers.

All CNHC registered practitioners are entitled to use CNHC's quality mark which demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and high standards. The public and those who commission the services of complementary healthcare practitioners can choose with confidence, by looking for the CNHC quality mark. 

CNHC Registration for KF members

CNHC has agreed that the Kinesiology Federation (KF) may verify applications for CNHC registration from members of the Kinesiology Federation and we encourage members to register in order to gain the CNHC quality mark. KF members wishing to register with CNHC please complete the Application Form to register with CNHC and send it to the KF for verification either via email or post.

CNHC Registration for non KF-members

The KF also verifies applications for CNHC registration from non KF-members.
The KF will charge an admin fee for this process: For non KF-members who have achieved a qualification on this list the fee is £20. For non KF-members who do not hold one of those listed qualifications the fee is £180.

If you wish to apply to register with CNHC as a non KF-member, please complete the Application Form to register with CNHC and send it to the KF for verification either via email or post.
